Start Date: Sunday, March 8th at 5:00 p.m.

Duration: Six (6) months (end date, September 8th, 2009)

Location: Universal Health & Fitness, 33 Hawley Street, Northampton, MA 01060

Winners: Contestants who lose the largest percentage of pounds*

Cost: $10.00 per month for a total of only $60.00

Prizes: Cash based upon the total of entry fees collected.

This contest is open to anyone who wants to join. Membership to Universal Health & Fitness is not required!

There will be monthly weigh-ins held at Universal Health & Fitness so that you may track your progress. While monthly weigh-ins are not required, they are strongly recommended. The schedule of weigh-ins will be provided at the first meeting on March 8th.

On March 8th a weigh-in will be held, as well as taking "before" pictures and measurements (also not required but strongly recommended). During the last meeting on September 8th, "after" pictures will be taken as well as measurements.

*Example:                                             200 lb person loses 20 lbs = 10%                                              

                  170 lb person loses 20 lbs =  11%

                  150 lb person loses 20 lbs =  13%

  This formula gives people with less to lose a fair shot.
