This is the
number one thing you can do to keep your body changing, improving and
looking better!
It can be easy to just come in, with your workouts and weights memorized, run through them quick and go home. IF THIS IS WHAT YOU DO, YOU ARE NOT MAKING PROGRESS IN TONING YOUR BODY!
If you do the same weights over and over, your body will adapt and STOP changing. Your body needs to be pushed so it won't fall into this rut. Constantly pushing your body makes it Stronger and Leaner Every Day!
If you REALLY want to change how you look, then the S.L.E.D. System is for you!
When you go through your workout routine, the general rule is:
If
you can do all 10 repetitions on the third (last) set, you need to raise the
weight the next workout on the third set.
So on your next workout, the weight is heavier and you may only be able to do five reps on that third set. THAT'S PERFECT! On your next workout, try to get six, then seven and so on.
Ultimately, you are rarely doing 10 repetitions on the third set of each exercise. Your 3 sets should always go: light, medium, heavy.
